Marvel-ous Monday

This quilt has gotten a lot of comments from passersby.  It’s fun, it’s bright, it’s Marvel-ous!  A fun reminder we should all do our part to keep this world safe and keep a little "kid" in ourselves all-ways!!

We started with a Marvel panel featuring Captain America, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor and colour blocked it with primary colours found in the panel.  The blue is speckled, the green has a subtle print, and the red is solid while yellow finishes it as the binding.  The quilting pattern is stars and banners done in yellow thread.    

The back is just as fun!  We chose a companion Marvel fabric of vintage comic book covers.
